Oktoberfest is a 16 day festival starting late September and ending in late October annually held in Munich and Bavaria. It is the most famous event in Germany also the worlds largest fair with 6 million people from across the world attending every year. To us we call the festival Oktoberfest but the Germans call it die Wiesn. The festival consists of consuming large quantities of Oktoberfest beer and in 2007 they served almost 7 million liters of beer. |
