The Munich olympics is known in history because of the terrorist attack that happened during the games. 8 palestinian terrorists killed two members of the Israeli team then took nine other hostages. The situation ended in a huge gunfight leaving 3 terrorists and all the 9 hostages dead. This Olympics was also special because it was the first olympics held in Germany since the Nazis held it in 1936. |
